I am pretty sure this man is an Afghanistan vet. It still seems strange to me to rub shoulders with guys that at one time were the enemy. It should challenge us all to be careful about who we label the bad guy. After all, history may make us partners.

At the Moldova Victory Day 2010, I caught a few of the instruments on the ground, waiting for the time for the music to play. I liked the look for this instrument, resting on the green grass.

I took this image recently in an Orthodox Church, a photo of a Bible or book for prayer. I wasn't close enough to look, but I liked the image and its moodiness. Of course, the Bible is meant to be read...and I warn you that reading it is dangerous! God will speak to you!

These row of soldiers stood at attention for the Victory Day celebration. It was a hot, sunny morning, but they made it through. I am not sure about the uniform, though I'd love to find out!
